Yuriy is a research collaborator at the IMT Lucca, within the SySMA research unit. Prior to joining IMT Lucca he was a researcher at University of L’Aquila, and a visiting PhD student at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Oxford within the OXCAV group. In 2019 he was a recipient of the best work in progress paper award of the IEEE WFCS.

Yuriy received his PhD in computer science from the Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI), Italy, in 2017 and MEng in telecommunications engineering from University of L’Aquila, Italy, in 2012.

Research Area

Yuriy’s research is focused on automatic control of stochastic hybrid systems, formal methods, networked control systems, and security in cyber-physical domain.
